Rebecca Sonnenshine (The Vampire Diaries, The Boys, and Archive 81) was hired to adapt the screenplay to the silver screen - according to Deadline.
In the 336-page addictive novel with a jaw-dropping twist, Millie lusts after Nina's 'broken, handsome' husband Andrew Winchester while caring for their daughter and living in their attic (which ominously only locks from the outside).
'I only try on one of Nina's pristine white dresses once. Just to see what it's like. But she soon finds out… and by the time I realize my attic bedroom door only locks from the outside, it's far too late,' the book logline reads.
'But I reassure myself: the Winchesters don't know who I really am. They don't know what I'm capable of…'
Sydney's other upcoming projects include David Michôd's biopic on professional boxer Christy Martin, Apple TV+ horse farm thriller Echo Valley, Amazon Prime Video's survival thriller Eden, and the long-delayed third season of Max's Euphoria (shooting in January).
